I'm trying to decide between Lonestar cy-fair and north harris nursing programs. I was just wondering if anybody knows where i can find the hospitals that you do the clinicals in for both programs

I graduated from North Harris, and we had clinical sites all over the city, from Katy to Conroe. If you look on the http://www.lonestar.edu website at the nursing programs, it should list the clinical sites.

For a lot of reasons, for which the details I am tired of explaining I would avoid North Harris if at all possible.
The hospitals are going to be very, very similar if not the exact same. My sister attended Kingwood and did clinicals in Cleveland, Humble, Woodlands and mostly, downtown. My next door neighbor did hers at Montgomery and visited the EXACT same places.
Cy-Fair is a newer program, and by leaps and bounds the better option.
Go with CF!

Is your next door neighbor still attending Montgomery? What are her thoughts on the program? Would she recommend it to anyone? Thanks!

No, she graduated 2 or 3 years ago from their RN transition program and she absolutely loved it.
She first tried to go straight RN at North Harris and even though she was maintaining an A/B average, she left the program after 12 weeks because the instructors and material were awful.
I would HIGHLY recommend Montgomery. That is where I will do my transition for sure.

I say go Cy Fair. Has an excellent reputation (both RN and LVN programs).
I'm in the CY Fair LVN program that graduates in less than 2 weeks. Ours were at Healthbridge Children's Hospital (a private longterm/rehabiliation hospital) but I heard they aren't using that facility anymore. We can't get any hands on experience there.
Some of my class went to Cy Fair Hospital on Fallbrook/1960.
Some have gone to Tomball Regional Medical Center. Again, they won't be using Tomball next year due to overbooking at that facility.
Others... St Catherine's Cristus Fry/kingsland blvd
St Catherine's is my favorite.
