Today is the deadline and as of 12:00PM there are no apps being accepted, so they say :chuckle

Okay for all of us that are waiting, this is our official I'm waiting :no:, checking the mail daily :imbar, going crazy :banghead:, biting my nails :D, at the edge of my seat :coollook:, can hardly concentrate on anything else :typing, Kingwood and Cyfair Spring 2009 awaiting thread:yeah:We still have a while to go before letters are going to be sent out but let's keep each other encouraged and cross our fingers for everyone that applies! :up:

So who's with me? What are your points and where did you apply- Kingwood or Cyfair? :bow:

Hi TT- I didn't have time to celebrate this weekend. I participate in a craftshow in our school district every year and so I was busy with that. What did you do to celebrate?

Does anyone know if the same background check can be sent to Kingwood and Cy-Fair? Cy-Fair doesn't have any info., other than that it is due 12/1 and the acceptance letter said they would give more info. by mail later. Seems like they aren't allowing a whole lot of time. I dunno - I hope everyone had a great weekend. At least you weren't worried about what was (or wasn't) coming in the mail. A welcome relief!:bugeyes:

I spent time with hubby and the kids. Made one of the kids favorite meals, Sloppy Joe's. The girls (all three) made me congratulation pictures and hubby took me out to look for a new computer for school :yeah:and the cabinets for the kitchen that I have been crying over for the past six months! :wink2: Nothing big, but it was awesome and I was on a "happy" high all weekend. I smiled all weekend long and even bought my shoes for clinicals!! I'm too excited! :lol2:

Kim that is so true!! This is the first weekend that I did not stalk the mailman:lol2: I don't see why the same check can't be turned into both when they are a part of the same college system (even though Cy-fair tends to try and so things differently some what). Kingwood's letter said the same thing but I went ahead and did one through "Certified" they are on Kingwood's website because I don't want to be trying to do everything within a week or so... it's too much that I have to get done already. I like to be together and with a plan in place somewhat at least. HTH. :redpinkhe

i got my background check back today as well!! :) like you said onto the next thing...do we need to print the background check or anything or just give the director the password? and when do we give them the password at orientation?

I did not get an e-mail about change of dates. What was it for? What are the changes? I printed a copy for the director and have also saved the password for viewing. Did you go through Certified as well?

Does anyone know the specifics to this change of dates on the intent letter? Who else got this e-mail? Was it for RNSG 1172, maybe that explains why I did not get it...Someone that knows the answer please answer this for me.
