Okay for all of us that are waiting, this is our official I'm waiting , checking the mail daily :imbar, going crazy , biting my nails , at the edge of my seat , can hardly concentrate on anything else :typing, Kingwood and Cyfair Spring 2009 awaiting thread:yeah:We still have a while to go before letters are going to be sent out but let's keep each other encouraged and cross our fingers for everyone that applies!

Congrats to all of you that got in or are an alternate!! I know how much hard work it took to get in! See you around campus! If you need any help at any time just let me know. I check this site all the time.

Make sure to take CPR for healthcare professionals! Otherwise you will have to re-do it.

Bring a notepad to your orientation, you will discuss background checks, immunizations, uniforms and schedules.

The first steps to success day is interesting. You will receive 8 or so different lectures on tips to help you succeed.

I'm sure you guys are anxious about starting, and don't know quite what to expect, but I really think you guys will love it at Kingwood. The faculty is great, the facilities in the lab are top notch and the overall attitude and culture of the program is supportive.

CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!! :hrns&wlcm: to Kingwood Nursing Program!!!! I am very happy for you all. I know how hard you all worked and now you're reaping the rewards. Just make sure you carry that same enthusiasm through nursing school and you'll do well. For those of you who are going to take Pharm along with your nursing classes, if you can, take it with Ms. Weaver, she's awesome and you WILL NOT fail. As long as you do the work, you will get an A guaranteed!!

Congrats to everyone! I'm just an alternate, but hopefully I get in! I haven't heard anything from Kingwood but we moved and I haven't checked my mail, I will check it tomorrow and maybe I am an alternate for them as well! That would greatly increase my chances of gaining a spot! anyways, congrats to everyone and I was so happy to see y'all got in! Hopefully we'll be meeting someday ha! lol.

I also e-mailed the lady at cyfair to give her a current phone number to be reached at, but she hasn't e-mailed me back and I'm nervous hoping that they received it, plus I asked her a few questions and would like to have some answers! lol

i choose to do the 12:30-3 Tuesday/Wednesday Lecture and the Monday Clinical..

I would like to go to the 11/21 orientation...but i work in retail and that's the day after thanksgiving..so i doubt that will happen I'll probably have to go to the 12/2 orientation date. I am signed up to take a cpr class at kingwood on the 22nd of November. I also have to take RNSG 1172 and checked on my intent letter for them to sign me up for that. But other then that i can't wait to start..and get everything done!! :) I'm so excited i finally got in

This year Thanksgiving is on the 27th of November so you can probably still do the 21st!:heartbeat If you guys are taking the CPR held on 11/22 I'll look into that one also. I'm so happy to be able to move on!

The schedule that I saw says Basic CPR but according to Continuing Education, that is the correct course. I'm going to look to see if I see something different.

omgossh hahah...for some reason i was thinking the 21st was the day after thanksgiving..bahhaha..i feel like an idiot now. yay!! I CAN go to the orientation on the 21st!!
