Hi all,

I am applying for licensure by examination and need to send in a livescan. I don't know what number to put under Lic#(oca no.) Some of my classmates were told to add an 8 digit number, others were told to leave it blank. I don't want to mess up the application, causing me extra time until I can sit for the NCLEX. My school seems a little confused by this as well.

Thank you!

OCA number?  That sounds like the license number of the entity doing the scan. Try calling a livescan business and ask them.

I tried, got conflicting information from two UPS locations... 😅 From my understanding, this is where a RN license number would go, however us new grads don't have that yet. One UPS mentioned the application number... One said leave it blank. No clue

Call the sheriff's office or a police station.  They would have the scoop over a UPS Store clerk.
