I'm looking into LIU Brooklyn's part time evening/weekend program. I have some concerns, especially since I've read some not so great things about LIU on this site. Does anyone know about this specific program? Is it difficult to work full time while completing it? I teach high school right now and don't think I can afford to quit my job, live in NYC, and go to school. I still have other loans to worry about and don't want to take out anymore. Also, does anyone know the cost of if there are scholarships available? It seems like the cost is ridiculous if you calculate it by the credit and it's 8 semesters long. I think it came out to like $65,000?
Anyone know of any good, night or weekend BSN programs that allow you to work? I know it's going to be very difficult, but I don't think I can give up my job and it doesn't allow me to work part time. I've heard Adelphi and Dominican College both have night/weekend programs?

Hi @jennyfur1234,
I know this is a post from years ago, but here I am with the same dilemma you had. I'm currently working full-time, and looking for a part-time evening/weekend 2nd degree nursing program. Seems like my only options in NYC are LIU and DC, but LIU never responds to my questions or request for more info.
Just curious if you can share with me any info you have I can benefit from, and which path you ended up taking...
This whole thing is such a headache process!
