LIU Brooklyn ABSN Fall 2022

Published

Hi. I didn't see anyone post a LIU Brooklyn forum for fall 2022 so thought I would start one.

Just got my acceptance in the mail today! Just seeing if anyone on the same boat and want to discuss about the program further?

I applied back in January and got an email from the Assistant Director of Admissions to send my transcript. I sent it and haven't heard anything since. When did you apply?

I applied a long time ago. I think back in October 2021 for the Spring semester but I had to defer my application to fall 2022 due to financial issues. So maybe for newer applications, they're still reviewing? Thanks for replying!

Hey, guys I just applied for the fall 2022 admission. Super nervous.

Got an acceptance, but for the traditional course only and not accelerated because I received a B in Chemistry and Bio. I knew they required a B+ when I applied, but hoped they would see my A in organic Chemistry and B+s in my higher level Bio courses and waive it (funny I know). So I sent an email asking that if I retook this course I could possibly get into the accelerated program. However, I still am waiting to hear back from other accelerated programs so hopefully I won't have to do this. At least I have some form of back up!

Hey congratulations so this will be time first degree?

I’m so confused they keep sending me an email saying they didn’t receive my transcript and I keep uploading it so I just emailed them saying there might be an error in the system

Thank you!

Also that happened to me earlier. Their document center is hard to navigate. I also received an email saying that they did not receive my transcript after the deadline so I really assumed I would not get accepted. You should be good if you emailed them and have proof.

Hi guys! I just received an acceptance letter but I’m not sure if I got in the accelerated program or the traditional program. I applied for the accelerated

Hi, when did you apply and what were your stats? Also did you have trouble submitting the supplemental materials?

My stats aren’t the best I had a 3.0 when I graduated. I applied on feb 24th and got an acceptance letter today at midnight, it was in my junk mailbox

I just don’t know if I got into the accelerated or traditional program, it just said congratulations you’ve been accepted into LIU Brooklyn nursing program, for fall 22 when I applied for Summer accelerated

Hey! Just applied to their program. Would love to know people stats GPA etc. I have a repeat in a&p1 wonder if they will care?

I got accepted into the traditional program instead of the accelerated. You need to meet all the prereqs in order to qualify for the accelerated. I had a 3.0 and had a C in one of the prereqs but they offered me the traditional program.
I’m not sure how that would work since I have all the prereqs and majority of my credits will transfer. I’m hoping to speak to an advisor about this.
Im waiting to hear back from other schools

Yes I did have trouble submitting, it didn’t look like it went through, but then I received an email saying they received the material
