List of California hospitals that offer new grad programs

Hello I was wondering if anyone knew specific hospitals that offered a new grad RN program in California? I just graduated with my BSN (from a New York Nursing Program)in May and passed my NCLEX in July. I am currently trying to get my license transferred to California so I was wondering if anyone knew of any hospitals with new grad programs?

Thank you!

I waited until I had two years of experience before moving to the area, so I'm not sure about new grad programs. I do want to let you know that you can't "transfer" your license, though. You can apply for a California license by endorsement, but it would be a separate license and you'll still have your New York license until it expires and you choose not to renew it.

The California BON usually takes about three months to process applications if everything is perfect ...so you're right to plan way ahead. Good luck in your job search. I hear it's brutal until you have some experience to work with.

Many of these programs require that you have an active CA license to apply

You are going to have to make a list of hospitals in every city and check each hospital website individually. I'm not aware of any master list of these programs.

I would love to know as well! I'm graduating in December and will be moving to the Bay Area from Texas.

Can anyone add to this list?

I know in my area that some AHMC hospitals offer but some are like 12 weeks preceptor while others are courses. Anaheim Regional Medical Center offers courses, CHOC, CHLA, Global Medical Center, Long Beach Memorial but all of their Memorial Care facilities do, Tenet facilities do too. Also USC/Keck, USC/LAC I heard does but it's county so I'm not sure on that.

I don't think St Joseph's does anymore but their sister facilities do.
