Liscense criteria

I just moved to the chicago area from Alabama. My liscense there is not currently active..I have not worked past 2 years due to medical reasons..I am now ready to work again. Should i get my liscense renewed in alabama..Or can i just do it in IllNois? what all is required to request IL liscense and get CE credits etc?

I don't know if Illinois will issue you a license if yours is inactive.
