Linfield Portland ABSN Summer 2015 Cohort

Hey everyone! I was recently accepted into the Accelerated Bachelor's program at Linfield College's Portland campus. I was hoping to connect with other admitted students to the ABSN program. I'm very excited to begin this new journey.

- I would like to setup a Facebook group for admitted students that are interested.

I got in to this cohort as well. How are people paying for this? The cost seems pretty staggering (100k or so). I am excited but with reservations.

I was wait listed. But I would love to hear from other students that either were accepted, wait listed or decline (especially that one). Would you mind letting me know what the date was that you needed to make your final decision to accept?

@McCoy81 - I believe we have to let the Linfield Admissions office know our decision to accept or decline by May 1.

@habeedashing - I'm anxious about this as well. However, I'm trying to reserve major panic until I receive the financial aid package (supposed to receive by April 1). There are plenty of lenders for private student loans out there, but I'm definitely trying to limit the amount of debt I'd need to carry. In the interim I'm doing a CPR class at CPR Lifeline in SW Portland in order to get my BLS card prior to the start.

Hello everyone! I was also recently accepted to the Linfield 2015 ABSN program in Portland. I am very excited to embark on this journey! @PDXbuckeye I was also wanting to get a Facebook page going - it would be great for everyone to network a bit before we begin in June. Hi everyone! I was also accepted to Linfield's ABSN Summer Program! I am originally from California but just graduated from University of Oregon. I am not very familiar with Portland and would love some insight on what people are doing for housing. Can't wait to meet you all!
