Hey all, I recently applied to LMU's Alcoa and Knoxville campus for Spring of 2018. Just seeing if there were other hopefuls out there!!!!! Nerves are setting in! The waiting process is the worst part:/ I think my GPA is fairly competitive.. We shall see! Share your story:)

Hi there! I also applied for the LMU 2018 ASN program in Alcoa and I can't take being in limbo any longer! Have you received your acceptance letter yet?
I applied in June and expected to wait until at least August, but I am really hoping to find out before the end of October. Any day now would be great! Good luck!!
Hi!!!!! I ended up applying to PRMC site because the Alcoa site is accelerated and more costly out of pocket. But I got my acceptance letter a few weeks ago, I think it was dated September 14th! I applied in June as well, so I would call the nursing Dept and ask about your application!
CONGRATS! When I called on September 19th I was told they are reviewing applications but no decisions have been made. BEST OF LUCK in the program!
Have you called since? I definitely would because they mailed letters for the early†applicants and we both applied in June which is considered early. Just see if your application has been reviewed yet, they will pull up your application and tell you if it has or not and it if has, they will tell you if your letter has been mailed. I actually got accepted to Alcoa but I called and explained to them that the accelerated program wasn't what would fit best with my family and children, plus I couldn't afford the summer semester out of pocket since financial aid wouldn't cover it. So they switched me to PRMC with no problem :) Good luck to you and let me know when you get your letter! The envelope has NURSING in big black letters!!!!
Also, my friend applied, and her nursing application got held up because she hadnt gotten accepted into the University. Transcripts from Cleveland State were never received. So, she had to call admissions and get accepted to the University. Once that was done, they are able to review her nursing application, but they told her the nursing committee will review again in about two weeks. So I would most definitely call and make sure everything is all worked out.
I ended up calling again last Friday due to your previous response to inquire specifically about my application instead of a general, "have any decisions been made for this program?" They were awaiting my midterm grades! She e-mailed me yesterday to confirm classes. Hopefully not too much longer!
Yay thank you, Lord!!! I was thinking something had to be holding up your application, because if not, you should have definitely gotten a letter when I did, if you applied in June! I wish they would call and tell students what is holding them back, because my friend had no idea her hold up was awaiting the university acceptance due to her transcripts not arriving... But i'm so glad you got it figured out. Did she say when the nursing committee will meet again?!
She did not! She didn't even respond when I told her my midterm grades were already posted. I am surprised at the lack of communication but I am sure they are being bombarded daily. Still so glad I called - it helped with some temporary stress relief. I am hoping to have a response by the end of October but today would be nice
Hopefully you will know soon! Wish you were going to PRMC!!!! í ½í¸¬í ½í¸¬ let me know when you get your letter!
Just got the letter yesterday and I GOT ACCEPTED! Yaaaaaaayyyyyy!! Finally. What a relief!
Yayyyyyy congrats!!!! Even though we are going to different sites, we will have the same orientation day!!!!!
