Has anyone applied for reciprocity with the state of Texas. (Or any other state for that manor). If so how long did it take for your license to transfer to your new state?

You don't actually transfer your license, you receive a license by endorsement. You will end up having a license in both states.

The length of time varies from state to state. Some states are considered "walk through" which means it's very easy to receive licensure quickly. Others take months (California). Some states are part of the compact agreement, meaning you can practice in their state with a license from another state, so long as your address does not change.

The best thing to do is to consult the board of nursing for the state which you want to endorse your license to.

Also, sidebar; consider changing your screen name to something other than your real name. This is a public forum.
