South Carolina is a walk through state. Check with the BON and get the details, but I know a couple of nurses who got all of the paperwork done, had the cash in hand, went to the office and came out with a license to work in less than 4 hours. They spent the summer at the beach, then came home to pack up and move close to the beach. I think the pay was low but they were happy.
