License finally came!! (shouts to Suzanne & AmyD)

:welcome: My RN license came in the mail today. It was such a wonderful feeling to be able to open something with such pride!! We work so hard and in the end it does pay off...............

CONGRATS AMY D!!! I was so glad to read YOU PASSED (like you weren't going to pass? come on!! hehe)!!! Everyone knew you would do it.

It is so nice to come on here and read about people about to take boards. I am nervous and happy for everyone! I really must boost Suzanne's plan one more time because without her swift kick in the hiney and "guiding us" in the correct direction I still might have been doing TOO MANY CD's TOO NAME and not preparing correctly.

The NCLEX once done and passed (of course), I mean reflecting back isn't much more than a test of skill. Yes its HARD, and YES its stressful, but any prepared nursing student who has dedication CAN DO IT!!! You will worry yourself silly until its over and when you see your name "in lights", but just know its all worth it!!

Now when I sign my name with RN afterwards I have such a grin and I am so glad!!!!!:balloons:

PS Saunder's from cover to cover......dont be neat with your BOOK! Use pens, highlighters, pencils, post its, etc! Copy critical pages at kinkos and take them in the car with you.....put them near your toilet...........just feel comfortable with the information. (Hey wasn't I flipping out stressing seems like so long ago now......HAHA)....GOOD LUCK ALL!

man everything you said is exactly me. I would read in the tub, car, deck, by the pool, in every room etc....hubby bought me a used laptop off of ebay so I could take the saunders cd with me everywhere!!!! And I did! I slept , ate and breathed studying so much that i am kinda lost now not knowing what to do!

I can compare it to birth , once it is over and you have that license all the pain just dissapears! thanks for the congrats it sure has been along time coming and I had so much FEAR and FAILURE hanging over my head for so long I still dwell on how I have felt off anon for so many years. but now it is is so wild that a 4 hours test can make you proud and feel smarter! awesome awesome feeling!

I am enrolling in the BSN program at OU athens in Ohio, completely online except residency. not to mention free cause my dad works there!!!! LOL
