I was granted a California LVN license in late January 2006. I sent my California LVN license number, endorsement application, completed fingerprint card, notarized signature, 2x2 passport photo, and $175 check all in one big envelope to the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners in late January. On the same day I mailed a $75 check to the California Board of Vocational Nursing so they could release my licensing information to the Texas Board.
I was issued a temporary Texas LVN license in early February 2006. I was finally issued a permanent Texas license in early March 2006. The process of endorsement took a total of about 6 weeks.
