License endorsement from NY to CA, anybody?

Hi, can anyone explains the step by step process on licensure by endorsement from NY to CA? I already read the process in the CABON website but am just wondering if anybody here had an actual experience?
My wife is currently a NY RN and she wants to transfer to CA and do not want to waste time working here in CA as soon as she gets here. So any advice what to do and prepare while she is still in NY?

She just needs to submit the application for License by Endorsement to CA. There is also a verification form that needs to be filled out by the BON of NY and sent in to CA. That is it. She will also need to submit the fingerprint cards for the CA license, and those can be done at a local police dept in NY.

Since she already has the SSN#, she will be able to get her permanent license issued right away. Takes a few weeks for the process to be completed.

As long as NY gets the verification in to the BRN, then she could even drive up to Sacramento and get a temporary license issued that day, and she can work with that.

Im currently lacking motivation in studying, probably will take a break for a day or two but I dont also have any motivation going out, I dont want to do anything at all at the moment.::uhoh21: i just want to lie down and force myself to sleep and hopefully wake up and everything is over. Gosh the waiting game is killing me.

Cool! Am living with my cousins and they have 3 yorkies, 2 grown up and one puppy. They have this thing that they dribble (pee) whenever they get excited or if there's a new human inside the house. :lol2:

I really want to go and meet with you again, but am stuck taking care of the kids since my parents went home for a while in the Philippines.

BTW, can my wife start the application for endorsement even if she is currently working in NY? Can you be licensed at two state at the same time?
