Hi, new to the site so may I say hello to everyone!
Can anyone point me in the right direction to RNLD's getting work in Australia? My friends, one an RGN and t'other an RMN have both recently got jobs in Coffs Harbour NSW. I really want to emigrate with them, however, I'm struggling to find good sound advice about anything. Recently been told to go back to college and do further studying ie general or mental health, which I really do not want to do!
I've read on this forum that also in NSW you can get registered as an RN and work wherever you feel competent. Is that still the case? I'm so confused and would be very grateful of any advice at all! Also does anyone know why RNLD's are on the ENSOL list and gain 60 points even thou there doesn't appear to be any jobs over there? Hope someone can help as I want to start the process soon.
Many thanks:cheers:

Hi, new to the site so a big hello!!!
Does anyone have any tips re finding jobs etc in Australia? My two friends are moving to Coffs Harbour NSW and I want to go with them, however I'm an RNLD and can't seem to find any sound advice. I've been told to go back to uni and do my general training or mental health, which I don't want to do! I've also read on this forum that RNLD's can get assessed as RN's and work where they feel competent. Does anyone also know why RNLD's still gain 60 point on the ENSOL?
I'm so confused and will greatly receive all helpful info anyone might have.
Many thanks
