I am having the same problem. I was hoping to find a resource to make it easier. I might try to make a chart. Not sure. I am eagerly awaiting an answer also. So many meds and names that are similar.

i had a hard time with meds when i was studying for the nclex. i used mosby memory book - pharmacology. it helps to learn the basic meds + its visual. its important to understand the side effects, nursing administration, and teaching to the client about the meds.
i hope this helps.

xj3nnerz or anyone else who knows, do you know if medications or math questions are lower level or higher level questions? Also, that mosby memory book--on pharmacology, will they include SEs, nur administration, and teaching to ct about the meds? thank.

Maybe you can find a good resource on this website: http://caring4you.net/tests.html

My only advice for this is that its not about the actual memorization of med info, the info u wil memorize will NEVER be one of the answer choices available for NCLEX, it is all about doing questions not studying material at this point.
