Our A&P teacher started teaching us about axial and perpendicular regions of the skeleton. She also taught us the proper names for specific body parts. For example, cuibital, antecuibital, femur, zygomatic, etc etc.
So, we had our first quiz. All of our quizzes are averaged to make 1 test grade. I studied HOURS. I mean HOURS for that, because I hate A&P. I don't do well with memorization by rote. But I bet myself that I'd get an A in every class, or I had to give $500.00 to a charity that I don't agree with. ha.
So I was SUPER confident and really excited. w00t!
Then, the quiz said: 'give the name for the proper region associated with the word below'
so then the words were listed.
elbow
cheek
thigh
........
I panicked.
'YOU NEVER SAID WE WERE SUPPOSED TO STUDY THE REGIONNNNNNS!'
I was right. She didn't.
She called the proper names for the parts we had to memorize 'regions' on the quiz and I subsequently ended up with a 56 on the quiz.
Needless to say,
haaate myselfffffffffffffffffffffff!!!!!!
I KNEW ALL THE ANSWERS AND because I got hung up on that ONE WORD I FAILED!
I wasn't the only one she confused. The majority of our class failed it as well. But I'm still mad.

Vent boo vent that's what they do to confuse you :icon_rollexactly why i just started reading the entire chapter over and over again until I have it down packed because bothering with these dam professors you will end bald pulling out your hair:lol2:It's crazy but what can you do because when you fail it's your problem not theirs. You will do better next time good luck!
I know it's totally my fault. I'm so MAD at myself! I studied the entire thing, and got caught up on the meaning of 'regions' and failed b/c of it. I didn't fail b/c I didn't know the answers..I DID know them but I think I was just really uptight and that made me not think correctly about the question. Had I used logic...I would've realized what she meant. I have A's on all of my other quizzes so far. aslhkfslafhlsashfhlsh!!!!
lol. I was so upset I sat in my seat and cried for the rest of the class. I didn't even cry when my kids were born.
whew. I need to calm down I suppose.
