HI everyone. Im a registered nurse in Connecticut for 11 years now. I got my BSN in the Philippines. I am a US citizen now. Recently I just found out that I forgot to renew my license this year, my birth month is February, so my license lapsed and i need to reinstate it back. I called dph and one of the staff told me that I have to take a CGFNS test again, but she was unsure of it. Does anyone knows the whole procedure/requirements for reinstating a license in Ct?

What does it say on their website? Just follow the instructions. If your license has not been lapsed for a long period of time, I would think the exam would not be required again. It would not be the first time someone gave out erroneous information over the phone. Submit your application. You will be told where you stand.
