Lansing Community College 2016 nursing hopefuls

Hi, I am planning to apply in the spring for the nursing program. I was hoping to start a thread so that others planning to apply could get together and support eachother here.

I am pretty nervous as I hope I have enough points to make it.

Please feel free to post and introduce yourself. I am sure some of us have taken classes together before :)

Hello! I'm Charlette so glad you've posted as I have been wanting to for weeks. I am applying in Spring 2016 also for traditional 2yr and I am stressed/anxious....I'm afraid my GPA is too low and therefore I may not have enough points to be competitive. This anxiety is relentless. I applied in 2012 but didn't meet the math requirement because I got a C in math 112 and even then I was banking on community service hours and work experience for points. I got married and started a family took some classes retook others and now I'm here hoping it will be enough....well enough of that I wish you well I'm afraid to ask how many points you have

You may get better responses if you post under the state (yellow tool bar>U.S.) then select the school if it is listed. Ask one of the mods to move your thread. When you post under general nursing discussion, most of us have no idea where this school is.

Hi, my name is Krystal and I applied for the traditional 2 year track! I applied with 146 points and I am hoping that will be enough! June 1st can't come soon enough!
