Lactation Consultant RN

I am interested in becoming a lactation consultant in Ontario. Has anyone completed a breastfeeding course in Ontario that helped them become a licensed lactation consultant? Im an RN with 1 year of experience, med/surg and geriatrics, looking for a way to become a LC without working in labour and delivery. Any pointers appreciated, thank you!

I'm trying to formulate a plan. I was looking at possibly getting hours through a clinical component they have at the end of a college breastfeeding certification program (Mohawk)
