Lab Pack Contents & Stethoscopes

I was accepted into a Fall 2015 ADN program (hooray!). We had to order a lab pack, but there is no description of what is IN a lab pack (other than gloves). I checked the company's website, nothing there either. I'm wondering if it includes a stethoscope, and if so, what kind of quality the stethoscope is.

I am somewhat hearing impaired and have been contemplating buying an amplified stethoscope. My hearing loss is due to Atypical Meniere's, so it comes and goes to a large degree.

So my three questions are, what is in the lab pack? If it includes a stethoscope, is the quality sufficient? Should I invest in an amplified stethoscope?

You might want to be more specific as to which school... Lab packs at my local school contain lab specimens and microscopes

Oooooh I'm so glad you asked about amplified stethoscopes! I have trouble hearing and I've been contemplating on whether I would need an amplified one or not. I've heard they are pretty pricy so I want to make a good decision before I invest in one.
