Kwantlen Polytechnic University volunteer hours for nursing?

To get into the Kwantlen nursing program, if there a certain amount of volunteer hours or work experience required to get in? Or can I just apply without any experience straight from high school with the required grades?

No, you do not need volunteer hours. I graduated from KPU in April and as far as I know, at that time no volunteer hours are needed. I believe schools like Douglas College require volunteer hours or they at least improve your chances of getting accepted, but not at Kwantlen. Acceptance into Kwanlten is based on a point system and random selection. The points come from things like where you live, having completed electives, completing Eng and Bio, how many times you applied before... things like that. I believe 10 points is the max. Good luck!
