Nursing is a lot of hard work.
Getting the experience and credentials to get hired is hard.
Nursing school is a lot of hard work.
Getting into nursing school is hard.
None of it is easy. Only you can decide whether or not the journey is worth it to you. As far as particular programs, you'd be best off going to an advisor at your school. Generally, I've found that college biology/anatomy courses for nursing are different than those required for other programs.
yes now i have passed bio 161 with an "c" and don't know if i should continue with the medical assisting program i am in the program for fall fall 2013 for sure but i think i can now and want to take bio 168 don't know if i should , i am not sure what to do ?

Biology is most a lot of memorization, especially intro the human biology. If you want to be an ADN, I would suggest changing your study habits until you find ways that benefit you best, and put in the time and dedication needed to achieve the grade required. Studying everyday, using a tutoring lab, meeting your professors during office hours to discuss anything that wasn't understood, are all good places to start. When it comes to pre-req classes such as Biology, good grades are attainable with enough hard work and dedication.
thanks for the advice i will take it into consideration

I would agree that you need to re-examine your study habits to find how to learn the most effectively. I am not trying to generalize or critisize, but from my experience even passing with a C in a science course will not get you into an ADN program, they are usually very competitive. You can do it with a lot of hard work.
i did not need the bio 161 class for nursing it was for medical assisting i took the class because i was afraid that i was not going to pass bio 168 which is required for nursing .
You have two choices. You can either become dedicated to success and do what it takes to pass the class so that you can become an RN, or you can let your fear of failing define you, and settle for whatever career you think will be the easiest to get into.
Yes, it's hard. If it was easy, everyone would do it. Nursing means you will have people's lives in your hands, so of course the material to get there is challenging, especially the sciences. General biology is really not that difficult if you put in the maximum effort to learn the material. There are much harder sciences involved in nursing, general biology just lays the foundation to them. Put in the time and effort it takes to pass and commit yourself to studying if nursing is what you want to do.
thank you for the advice i just am already in the prgram so therefor going to complete the program and then do my rn after i get my diploma in medical assisting
