Kemadrin off the market?

I got a call from the pharmacy my facility uses to say that Kemadrin (anti-parkinson drug) is no longer available in the US. Anyone know anything about this?

Per FDA website:

"June 4, 2008

Dear Healthcare Professional:

We would like to inform you that after careful consideration, King Pharmaceuticals®, Inc. has decided to discontinue the manufacture of KEMADRIN®(procyclidine hydrochloride) tablets.

KEMADRIN® tablets will remain available through pharmacies and wholesalers until current supplies are depleted.

This decision is based upon many factors, including our understanding of current medical therapy and the availability of alternative therapies.

KEMADRIN® tablets are distributed through King Pharmaceuticals®, Inc. No additional product will be available after King, pharmacy, and wholesaler supplies are exhausted.
