KCC ADN FALL 2019

Published

Hello everyone!

I applied for the ADN program in the fall of 2019 at Kapiolan CC. I'm wondering if anyone has better stats than I am. To those who applied, if you could reply and write down your stats, it will be greatly appriciated.

Here are my stats:

Prereqs: A's (4.0)

Coreqs: A's (4.0)

ATI-TEAS: 80.7%

Experience: Took Nurse Aide course and CNA certified. No work experience

I thought they don’t send out results until next month! Oh lord now I’m super nervous! Lol

We should be expecting letters to go out after spring break. Last year's fall 2018 batch got their notification letter last week of March.

Wow, that’s pretty quick. Do you know how long they give us to accept or decline our seat? And do you know what the fees are if any to hold your spot?

Approximately two weeks from the day you receive your acceptance letter. I don't think there is any fee as far as holding your spot. It just a matter of whether you decline or accept the admission to the program.

I've also applied for Fall 2019.

Prereq: 2 B's, A's for the rest

Co req: Humanities A, Pharm B

TEAS: 90%

Work experience: nurse aide and medical assistant

*I was accepted into the program in spring 2017 after being initially wait listed. I withdrew after about a month due to personal reasons. Reapplying was a little more challenging as I had to write a letter of appeal and outline of how I've been keeping current with my studies. I was doing well up until I left so I'm hoping they take that into consideration

@Livy803 Wow! Awesome teas score! I wish I had that kind of score. Ha ha! I hope we all can get in.

Has anyone heard anything from KCC? This wait is killing me!

The application says May, but when I spoke to Wes, he said late March or early April. I don’t think I could wait for another month. ?

Good luck to you guys! Keep each other posted for any updates. ?

@FutureRN02, sorry for the late reply! To answer your previous message, this is actually my second time applying & I am currently taking pharm at KCC.

I hope we receive our letters soon, this anticipation is killing me as well!
