Hi all,
Any future RN students preparing to take the nursing entrance test for their school? I need all tools & resources to pass this exam. I'm open to all recommendations. Please advise. I do not want to fail my exam.
Thanks in advance ?

Can I give you a suggestion? Kaplan University (if this is the school you are referring to) is not nationally accredited or recognized by the board of nursing. Basically, you will not be able to transfer credits after you obtain your RN. Most hospitals/clinics are now requiring a BSN. I went through the practice test with Kaplan and then did some more research. I am now about to start a BSN program with National University.

They are referring to the Kaplan entrance exam... some schools use this instead of TEAS or HESI
I appreciate your suggestion and will keep that in mind for future reference. I am referring to the Kaplan test. Do you have any suggestions on the best material to study for the nursing admission exam? I heard the Kaplan book is no good to study for the Kaplan exam @coco1320, @kglancaster?

Use khan academy to brush up on the various systems, especially cardio and respiratory. Brush on your basic math: fractions, decimals, and basic algebra. Cant really study for reading and writing in my opinion.
Thank you so much I appreciate your advice and will apply it to my studies ?
