OK so i am new here i graduated in dec amd took the nclex in April with Kaplan i felt i was decently prepared. I went in took the exam and comp shut of at 76 questions and i failed i felt so disheartened. I retook Kaplan put in more time on content and made use of the decision tree I waited 45 days and took my nclex again yesterday it shut off at 75..i got all excited even though i thought they threw me a heck of alot of meds turns out I was added to yet another statistic failing again on the second try. I am lost now and so losing hope , a friend of mine mentioned that she took Ready To Pass and was extremely helpful so i went and bought the book today. Can anyone tell me if they have any experience with them or have heard about them over Kaplan? any suggestions would be so helpful.

Study content, Saunders or Hurst Review before you take Kaplan's QTrainers and Qbanks. Study Priority, Delegation and Assesment by Libda La Charity, also the notes from All Nurses, usually the link is all over the place. NCLEX is unpredictable, you'll never know what's on the test. Try and keep trying, the hard part of nursing school is done.
Thanks :)
Hey! Which review did you wind up taking?

Hi nyguy26- sorry to hear about your situation. Please do not give up.
I enrolled in Ready to Pass last year. The program is excellent. Both of the instructors are registered nurses and still practice in their specialties. They are personable, the class size was small, and the instructor took time to review all the concepts that were covered in the NCLEX. In fact, the first day of the course, everyone receives the "Study Manual" that condenses the material. It is easy to understand, and the instructor goes through the manual from front cover to back cover. Also, there are questions at the back of the manual; rationales are included. The course I was in lasted 5 weeks. I learned A LOT. The day of the NCLEX Examination, I felt EXTREMELY PREPARED!!! I passed the NCLEX on 83 questions. The course is worth it.
I understand that the course is taught in NY, NJ, and Georgia. I highly recommend the course. I wish more people knew about the course. I heard about ready to pass from a nurse during clinicals. My school automatically enrolled everyone in Kaplan. I felt lost, and the instructor refused to answer questions. The review felt more like an episode from Jerry Springer with all the chaos and insults. There was no time set aside to review concepts or to have questions answered. Ready to Pass was the total opposite. From day one of the course, I started to think more like a nurse.

What's ready to pass? A review. Idk.
Hi tachycardia yes its a review course like kaplan but where Kaplan focuses mostly on questions readytopass goes over all the important areas of content that you must know for the test with strategic hints after all if you don't know your content how can you answer the questions
