I just found out today that I was accepted.
Is there anyone else out there that will be starting the program with me?

Congrats!!! I am in my first semester at Kaplan now. You will love it. The program is awesome! Congrats again on getting in.
Thanks so much!!! What do they go over at orientation?
They will go over basic stuff. They will tell you that it is difficult and requires dedication. They will just go over basic info about the school like parking stickers and stuff. They will also get copies of your immunization records. Make sure to get there early because parking can be difficult, especially on orientation days. Good luck!
ugh, immunization records. I am having to start from scratch because my records are a mess. My acceptance letter says I have until the first day of class, which is good and I'm going tomorrow to get stuck.
Oh! I have seen the parking lot, it's horrible there!!!! When I went to meet with the staff there, I had to park far and walk over. LOL
I have a meeting with the DON next week, what's that like?

when are you scheduling your meeting with the DON? I wonder what it's all about?
Oh and did your letter say conditional? Does that mean the DON can say nevermind I lied, you aren't accepted? Hopefully, it just refers to the background and drug screen which I already know I passed lol.
I think it means conditional upon completing that list of things b4 school starts.

ok can someone post all the pre requsites again into applying for the ADN ..? aside from the TEAS test?? i want to file for the may 2010 cohort
You need a Physical, a Drug Test, Background check, a TEAS score with an overall of 81%, and a minimum of 60% or higher on the math an science portion.
If you don't have a degree, which you do, you would also need 6 months of medical experience, or be a Kaplan Graduate from another program such as their CNA program, MA program or LVN program. Since you have a degree you need to submit proof; a copy of your degree and send in all your transcripts.
I was told that they look at several things, such as work experience, scores, past education and GPA in making their decision.
