Kaplan qbank, NCLEX Mastery or UWorld

Which is best and why?

I've used all three and am sorry I was late to the party with uWorld, it's that good. NCLEX Mastery is very good but their questions can be a bit leading at times since they include so much information. Kaplan has a fair amount of errors and/or rationales that only offer "just because" types of answers; not the most helpful for remediation. As for uWorld, I found their rationales to be helpful and consistent and the level of questions seem to be extremely high. I'm taking my NCLEX this Thursday, so I guess we will find out soon enough just how accurate my assessment is. :wideyed:

UWorld is great, the rationales really go in depth, and you can customize your tests. NCLEX Mastery is also good for some questions. And I like that you can categorize the questions so you can review certain ones again. UWorld and NCLEX Mastery are great if you need questions but from what I hear Kaplan is good for strategy. I have a Kaplan strategy book which has been helpful but I have not taken the course.

LOVED UWorld! Found it a week before I tested and I wish I had found it sooner!

Another one that I really found helpful was Lippincott 10,000 by Prep-U. It starts off with easier questions and gets harder as you go, which I found really helpful. They had a 2 week trial, which was all I really needed so I didn't have to pay the $100+.

NCLEX mastery was helpful too, especially because I could do it on the go.

Good luck!
