KAPLAN Entrance Exam

Published

I am scheduled to take the KAPLAN next Friday and I am really nervous. I have been studying like crazy but I'm not sure that will even help because I don't know what will be on it. The director of admissions told me that math, reading and writing will be on the test. The science part is a tie breaker. She also said that I have to get an overall 68%. I don't know what to expect. Can anyone that has taken the KAPLAN give me some feedback? Was it hard? What should I study? Anything will help. Thanks.

I have to take the exam in February. What did you use to study for the test?

I've just been using testprepreview.com. I don't know what else to use. I can't really find any information on this test.

Have any of you taken the exam yet? I take it in April and I'm wondering what to specifically study? I'm hearing only basic stuff for math, percentage, decimals etc. and a&p for science? I purchased the Kaplan review book but there's so much info! hELP!

It helped me to study Anatomy and Physiology for Dummies, so that I could brush up on all the systems. You need to know how the systems work with each other(Physiology). Don't know what to tell you for the writing portion.....it just sucks. Reading was cake and Math you need to know ratios and percentages. Also fractions...Good luck.

I took the Kaplan on February 7th. I received an overall score of 68%. The Reading and Math were my highest sections. Writing was bad forms because I forgot some of the grammar rules. Science was my lowest :(. We had to get a 60 or above and we can take it once again. The math was mostly fractions and ratios in the form of word problems. The reading wasn't bad.
