I graduate from nursing school this May. I definitely want to take a Kaplan course, but I can't decide which route to take. Is the Kaplan complete classroom version that much better than the complete online? What is the difference, besides the 30 hours of classroom? Thanks!

I never took the classroom portion, but I did take the Kaplan complete online. I would strongly recommend it. The questions in the Q-bank and Q-Trainers are extremely similar to the ones in the NCLEX, and some are even more difficult than the actual exam! I couldn't do the classroom, but the online part of Kaplan was good because I could do it whenever I wanted to and had the time to do it. If you feel that the structure of a classroom lecture would benefit you, then I would advise you to take the complete classroom, but if you feel that you could benefit from the online portion, then do that. Either one will help a lot. :) Good luck!!

hi, I took the classroom course, it was ok but then I found out that everything is online really. the only extra thing that the classroom course offers is the opportunity to ask a professor questions. So if you feel like you need extra help i would say take the classroom otherwise the online course would be just as great. Good Luck.:wink2:
Thanks! I probably will do the online version. For the classroom course I'd have to drive from Tucson to Phoenix all week. I just want to do everything possible to pass NCLEX my first time around!
