I recently just got my letter from the University of Kansas nursing school and I found out I got wait-listed #10 out of 72 people. It's really depressing because I was so set to get in and I was so ready. Now, I have to wait 2 more weeks to see if I could get in. I knew it was super competitive, but I thought I was all set for it. I had a great GPA, I have leadership (RA, sunday school teacher, pianist for my church, children's worship leader), and I volunteered at Menorah Medical Center for over 270 hours... and I still got wait-listed. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced being on the wait-list? I'm just so nervous I won't get in, even though the advisor said I have a "excellent" chance because last year 28 people got accepted from the wait-list.
Anyone else experienced this??

I don't have experience with that, but I'd keep your chin up! Number 10 would strike me as pretty good odds for you! My advisor there had told me that they usually have room for some on the wait list too when I was in the application process in September!
