feeling panicky about edukan A&P1 final

U.S.A. Kansas

I am currently taking A&P 1 at Edukan with Prof *******. So far I have a low A, but find the tests difficult even with the open notes. The idea of a comprehensive final without notes is really scaring me. I need to keep my A or I will have to take the course again. If you have taken this course before I would appreciate some input on how hard the final was. Thanks!

Does she provide unit outlines? I'm taking Micro and I'm following the unit outlines along with a study guide that I bought online.

Thanks Thirdwatch. I guess I am mostly worried about the closed book final. I am taking Micro too, are you at edukan? I love that class. Now those are some helpful outlines :D Although the AP notes are helpful with the material I am alway surprised by the test questions. Not so bad during an open note test. Luckily the final is not weighted too heavily. To others thinking about Edukan, I highly recommend it!!

sorry to barge in... im taking micro thru edukan next semester.. are you finding the micro reasonable...even with the closed book final? I really want to pull an A from the class.

this is my first edukan course so i dont know what to expect... I took AP online through a different college and it is awful...Im managing to keep my A but we get no help as far as what to study...and I have the final in 2 weeks which is worth 200pts!

would you mind sharing what study guide you bought?

Yes I'm taking Micro through Edukan...and in love with it. Seriously, I'm thinking of retaking A&P through them for a better grade (have a "B" & "C". It's going to be hard for me to leave edukan after micro.

The surprised questions you get are critical thinking. There's study guide on Amazon for A&P I and II. Let me look for it, but since it's our last week just go over the chapters. Lots of luck for us on our final on December 9th.

You know, it's an interesting study guide I found on Amazon. This instructor e-mailed to me for $4.00...and it helped me to pull the "A" in an easy way. Let me look for it...and I'll send the link. ;-)

I will definitely look for the study guide for AP2 in the spring. I am no longer panicky about the final. I think I only need to make a 30 on the final to keep an A. I figure if I can't do that I don't really deserve an A

I've really enjoyed both my classes at edukan. AP1 and Micro. I love that place. I am going to try to take AP2, Chem and statistics in the spring. Anyone tried an edukan Chem class??

Good luck with your final!

I've heard that Chem at Edukan is hard...but give it a try!

How did you do on the final? Was the Course and instructor good?

Where did you purchase your books for Edukan AP?

I ended up with an A for the course. The final is hard, but it is not heavily weighted so if you do well all semester you will be fine. I actually rented my books from Barnes and Noble. I ended up buying it afterward but that way I was able to spread out the expense. It cost no more than if I would have bought it initially. Good luck! Edukan is great.
