Kaiser nurses - Other states and California

Hello

I will start orientation at a Kaiser Facility (Georgia) next week and I'm wanting to hear from other nurses working at Kaiser. What are your likes and dislikes, experiences, etc? Most of the feedback I've gotten is positive.

I'm a relatively new LPN and been working in LTC for five months. Glad to leavn LTC - although I will still work there PRN-part-time

I know in Georgia that there are no Kaiser Hospitals like in California. Are there actual Kaiser hospitals in locations other than California? (i.e., Ohio, Hawaii, Colorado)

I haven't worked for Kaiser but a friend of mine does. They have good benefits and he is treated well, they work well with his schedule and are pretty accomodating. In CO Kaiser doesn't have their own hospitals, they work with various facilities, most of the hospitals are owned by Exempla and some are community hospitals.

I don't have any personal experience with them but I hope this helped a little :)

Helllo there,

I am thinking about Kaiser after NS because they are opening up a brand new ginormous Kaiser hospital close to home and I have heard nothing but good things about them. I, too am interested to see what people who do work at Kaiser have to say.:D
