Never have done chat before... hey, it's just like my Yahoo IM... very similar anyway.

I can learn this !

With time and trial/error, I'll get familiarized with all the various functions, etc., but I can start with the basics and go from there. Kool.

I have been chatting for years, no problem there. What I can't figure out is how to get a new avatar or upload funny pics. Evertine I try, it says the file size is too large, even if I shrink it a whole bunch first. You have a lot more computer skills that you think you do!

Have you checked on the pixels of the pics you try to upload in the avatar?

yeppers... like LPN2004 said... check the properties of the pic first to see if it's under 15000 bytes... if it's not, won't go.

And the pixels have to be 100x100.... also should say on the "properties".

Some pix you'll need to reduce the pixels (if it has too much color quality)... haven't had to do that yet, but I'm sure we can figure out how. Probably have to reduce the color quality in your display long enough to reduce it in the pic, attach it, post it, and then jack up your color display back to normal again on your pooter.

At least that's what I'm THINKING... will have to try it out sometime. :)
