Hello to all,
I am very glad I found this website. I have just taken my NCLEX-PN today. I am feeling so many different emotions at this time. I am now the third person of my class to take the nclex the first two passed with the minimum number of questions....I had 188 questions...is this bad? Does anyone have any advice? I cried all the way home this evening. I just don't want to be the one who fails. A part of me feels relieved that it is over however, I am just sick thinking about it. If anyone has any advice please feel free to write. I just joined this evening. Thanks!

The only thing you can do is wait. Don't torture yourself worrying about whether 188 questions is bad, because it's the number of questions it took you to either pass or fail, it doesn't mean anything. Good luck to you and hang in there!

Ahhhh step back and be patient.
Some one else posted saying they had 265 questions and passed so hang in there.
I wish you all the success in your future career :)

The number of questions you get does not matter. I had 85 questions and passed. My sister had 205 questions and passed. I know how hard it is not to stress out but try to think about other things and keep busy. Worry will not help one bit. I tried to keep this attitude as I waited. "If I pass awesome but if I don't its not the end of the world, I am still a nurse but just need to retake a test..no big deal"..... How long do you have to wait for the results?

hello, NURSE-N-WAITING. worrying about the test will not help. Although it's natural emotion to do so. I know this becuase I was going through the same thing when I went to take my test for CNA. The important think is that you tried you're best. If you fail just re-take it. Remember, it's just a test. Try to keep busy with other things until you get your results. Speaking of which, when do they come? I really hope you passed. I am not an LPN yet, so I cannot tell you anything in regarding to the questions. I'm a CNA in training to be an LPN. I take my test sometime in Dec 2008. I wish you good luck in your nursing career and may you be blessed with everything in life. Good luck. Tell me ASAP when you get your results if you passed. :):wink2:
Thank you all for the advice, hopefully I will know my results on Tuesday, this is a great site, you all make the wait easier. Thank you
