Just took the NCLEX-RN!!!

Published

OMG! I just got done with the NCLEX...75 questions :icon_roll I have to say...it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Is that a bad sign? I studied Kaplan and Saunders. There were just a few questions where I completely guessed. I felt pretty confident about most of my answers...is this a bad sign since the better you do the harder the questions are suppose to get??? I don't know what to think...:uhoh3:

No good worrying about it now, relax and have a break whilst waiting for results. Good luck

I just took the NCLEX on Thursday and it shut off at 109 questions. I am freaking out!! I felt okay when I left the test but as each day has gone on since the test I have started to feel worse and worse!! I am breaking into tears all the time!!!

Everyone gets 50% correct and 50% incorrect. It depends on the level where you were getting the majority of them correct. Nothing more than that will determine your score on the exam.

There is no reason to beat yourself up over the exam, instead take the time to do something for yourself, you will not have this much time available for you for sometime once you begin working.

Best of luck to you on your results.

Thank you all for your advice. As hard as it may be, I am going to try to not think about it so much...okay at all.;)

Hi everybody,

please don't worry to much about the test.

I have done my test in November and the computer shut off with 75 questions too.

I had no idea what I did wrong to get off. And I thought that I did not well.

But two days later I could read in the internet with a charge of about 7 or 8 USD that I did very well.

So I hope you will have done too.

I am crossing my fingers for everybody who has done the test or is willingly to do it next.

Although I am unable to immigrate in the US because of the visa retrogression I wish all students the best to pass the exam and to become a RN. This is one of the best occupations allover the world and every time worth a try!

Best wishes!

Sonne

I'm pretty sure everyone feels that way...it has only been one day for me and I'm starting to worry a little more. Hang in there. At least we know with every day that passes, we are getting closer to finding out. :wink2: Good luck!

I felt exactly the same as you! I didn't think it was that bad, but as time went by my doubts grew. The California website only updates once a day in the early am and that just drove me crazy, because it actually took over 72 hours for mine to post that I had passed. I see you took yours on a Saturday, my sister had hers on a Saturday as well and found out on Wednesday morning. We had taken ours the same week and neither one of us got much sleep that week as we were checking the BRN at like 4am every morning! Anyhow, based on my personal experience, I think it's a good sign for you.

Thanks so much for your reply sedsem! :rcgtku:I hope you are right. What did you use to study? I expected to have questions on the NCLEX re: disorders or procedures or meds I had never heard of, but in fact, I only had ONE question where I had never heard of the condition.

I hope I can say the same as you...I'll find out shortly, hopefully. I too am from Cali.
