Hello guys! I'm new in this website but I've read a lot of posts here about the experiences of others who also took nclex rn.
So i just took mine today. Stopped at 75 questions and still had 3 hrs and 1 min. left on my clock.
I got a bunch of prioritization questions. Most of the questions indicated "first". I even ended my last few questions before it hit 75 with prioritization questions. I got lots of patient education questions, "would require follow up" type of questions, I got 17 crazy SATA questions. 1 picture. No meds. 1 exhibit. I must admit that all questions are really hard. I prayed every question i encounter.
I need a heads up from you guys Who already took the NCLEX here. Do you think I passed? Thank you!

I hope you passed! Stay positive! I am retesting in 10 days! If you felt hard that means good sign my first attempt the questions weren't as hard so i failed with 75!
hmahdoui thank you! I hope you will pass too. The questions seemed really hard for me. Now i'm freaking out to know if i had high level questions based on what i said earlier in my post. Let's both stay positive and good luck to your next test. What type of questions did you get on your first time?

You will surely clear your exam, however can you please let me know your complete exam experience? And please give me detail on how you have prepared for exam and what material you have used?
I can say that my mind is still a little bit overwhelmed of what happened on my exam. It was hard. I almost cried at the start of my exam because of nervousness and almost cried again after i finished. I prayed before, during and after. My heart was pounding so fast. I read all questions thouroughly. I felt like I had 80% of my entire exam filled with prioritization, patient teaching questions. Do you consider "which of the following would require follow up" questions as high level questions? I really had bunch of those.
For the materials, i used Kaplan Nclex RN Premier 2014-2015 and finished answering the entire book. When i first answered the 265 written practice test of Kaplan, I had 60% score as far as i can remember. When I took it again i scored 74%. I utilized the online practice test of Kaplan. Scored 55% on first attempt and scored 70% the second attempt. I answered Kaplan q trainers. I did 1-3 like tutor mode for me. Q trainer 4 score was 55%. Qt 5 scored 56%. Qt 6 scored 57% and Qt 7 scored 50%. I was sad about my qt 7 result but i did not let it bother me and just read the rationale instead. Last one week before test i started answering some questions from nclex 3500. Night before the test i did not sleep very well because im really nervous but i didnt feel groggy at all. I woke up 4 am of my exam day and started reading the pdf format study guide. I did not finish but i read carefully every word. Btw i did not study the day before my exam. I just went to church with the family. I think thats the best that i can tell you for now about how i prepared because my mind is still overwhelmed to dig my brain further. I never stopped praying to God. And I believe all the study materials i used helped me with my test.
I did got Infection disease were below passing, and health promotion were below I had rest of categories either above or near passing! I had about 5 SATA not a many delegation or priority I was nervous scared! But I feel much better now answering questions and understanding strategy!
I am scoring in Kaplan Qbanks total 64% I have done 80% and Qtrainer 1-6 my average high 50''s low 60% I didn't do Qtrainer 7 yet! but I scored in Diagnostic test 57% and Readiness test 64.44%% I completed half of PDA book and I used Joan Workshop I just want pass! Hope you pass and everyone does :)

rizahawkeye, the number of questions and the type of questions are not indicative of pass or fail. We all feel like it is hard. unfortunately it is impossible to tell you if you passed or failed. The wait is horrific, we have all been there, but if your state participates in quick results, you will know in 48 hours. Some state BONs update their webistes with license numbers more quickly than that, so you might want to start checking a coule of times a day to see if you have a license number (but don't freak out if not-some states are really slow)
Best of luck.

Good luck!
I have to correct myself. I had no drug computations but had a couple of questions about meds.
So the quick result will be only available after 48 hrs? I'm dying to know it right now. I'm so sad

If your state participates in "Quick Results" then it'll be available 48 hoursafter you submitted the exam for grading. While that result is unofficial, it's also definitive because it's released after the 2nd scoring of the exam, which is the definitive scoring. If you're willing to bet $200 and are ready to pay for a 2nd attempt, you can certainly try the "new" PVT.
