Ok, that damn test was awful! you hear me? A-W-F-U-L!

Too many choices to pick from, and too many correct answers. It was really a strange test. Not one of the drugs I got, I knew...not ONE!

UGH!

The computer stopped at 98.....who knows.......it's a waiting game now...Go the the FBON website 3000 times until it shows up whether or not I was licensed!

I'm not kidding, but I don't think I FOR SURE KNEW one single cotton pickin' answer on that test. It was all an elimination-guessing-hoping strategy on every question!

So, pray for me everyone---if I failed, I can't work as a GPN...and I'm back to being broke!!!!

Bestow all your blessings upon me! lol!

:nono:

Oh my goodness now I'm scared to death to take it! yikes!

May I ask what study materials you used? I'm trying to determine the very best resources as I don't want to buy more than I need, but I do want to get the best ones!

I wish you luck! Let us know when you find out if you passed!

I took it in February, i failed. I'm studying with learningext.com and kaplan, i think kaplan is good, because it's similar to the question test style on the nclex. good luck!

The best thing I used was EXAM CRAM...it was pretty good. The problem with the test is that they give you SIX choices for answers, not three, thus reducing the probability you'll get it right if you guess! ...AND most all of the six choices are right, and that makes it even tougher!!! UGH! :banghead:

Don't be scared, just be prepared!

Good Luck !

everyone [including me] hails Saunders.. i have an nclex book frmo them and it comes with a cd with a possible 11,000 questions.. i just took the nclex on saturday and saunders did help alot.. also i did the hurst review.. its a review for rns but the lady breaks it down so barney style that its better retained.. good luck :p

If you get 'pick all that apply', you have to look at each one as "true" or "false". I got that from another member here at allnurses. It was after the fact, (and that I passed, thank goodness), but if I had to do it again, I would not have gone as crazy with that stupid freaking test. Good luck to all of you.

yeah i kinda freaked out because i got taken to the max :uhoh3: 205 questions.. but i know 3 other people from my graduating class that got taken to the max and all passed.. yet my sister and 3 other people in my class stopped at 85-90 and passed.. they say how many questions you got are unrelated to the fact if you pass or failed.. im still biting my nails tho:stone.. i walked out completely convinced i did not pass :banghead: i got a dozen pharm questions with meds i SWEAR they just made up:no: a few therap. comm. questions, a much of pt teaching and med surg.. it was all over the place.. i pray to God i pass, but if not, theres always round two

Hi nursegena, Im taking the test by the end of this month and I am so nervous about it. I bought kaplan online today and I have saunder, hogan, davis, and many others. Which one was good for you and you think is more similar to the test. I do not know which one to start to because it is to much information. Please give some advice and good luck.
