Just took NCLEX...i'm a nervous wreck!

I just got home from taking the NCLEX and I feel horrible!!! The computer shut off at 75 and the last question I had was a SATA (which i'm convinced I got wrong). I had about 12-15 SATA, a lot of prioritizing, infxn control and meds. UGH! I feel like i'm going to vomit..I'm so nervous and scared. I finished the test in about an hour, may be I should have taken more time!

Has anyone failed @ 75? OMG OMG OMG someone please helppppppp! I'm going to have a nervous breakdown!

I am curious , whats SATA??? I will prob feel REALLY dumb when u tell me but it;s not coing to me at this time! Im sure you did fine. I hear of sa lot of people feeling lik ethey failed but it turns out they passed. Good luck to you. I take mine july 15th and I dont know what to do to prepare besides answering questions daily.

You will be fine Laura!! Just took mine yesterday 75 questions and the same topics as you and just found out today I passed! Try to relax and do something to get your mind off thinking about it! Hopefully your state has quick results or you can do the pearson vue trick to help ease your mind. Stay strong... good luck!! I hope you passed!

ahhhhhhh ok (laughing at myself)!!! thanks and CONGRATS soxchick11 on passsing NCLEX!!!!!! Yayyyyy MUST FEEL GREAT! should i go through all meds we learned in nursing school or focus on Digoxin, heparin, Ace, and Beta blockers, etc ..the more frequntly discussed..Im nervous about what to study!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS SOXCHICK, YOU DID IT!

& Cajunmom I would focus on what you don't know/weaknesses. I was tested on medications I haven't heard of and wasnt able to figure out what drug class they were from their names. Others I knew what they were used for but simply didnt remember the specific side effects. It was frustrating!

Thanks Laura I'm so happy and excited!! I know I agree I love this site I don't think I would have stayed sane without while preparing for the boards... I love it, it's great being able to have advice and support from people who know and understand exactly what your going through!!

BTW did you try the pvue trick to find our your results & how long do you have to wait from the time you finished the test?

Hi LauraGC,

I took the NCLEX-RN yesterday and I am totally relating to how you are feeling. I came home and did the PVT and got a good pop up. At least it helped calm me down a little bit.

The PVUE trick works that fast? I finished my test about 2 hrs ago.

OMG I don't think I can look. If I didn't pass i'm going to let so many people down including myself it's going to be horrible

They should just give us the results right away instead of putting everyone through this agony!!!

Yes I did the trick and got the good pop up... I found out today around 12:30 pm and I took the test yesterday at 8:00 am. My results arent up yet on PV but they are on my state (Massachusetts) website with my name and RN license #... my friend who is an RN said that it'll take 48 hrs for PV to post your results no matter what even if your state posts it first which is kinda silly lol but oh well I'm just happy to see my name up there!
