Just quit my corporate America job to focus on the RN program! Employment advice?

Posted

I plan on going for ICU experience after graduation. I just got accepted into an RN program, and would like to know if anyone has advice on what to do as my employment options are wide open. I want to do whatever I can that will help me stand out of the pack when it comes graduation time and I'm looking for my first RN position!

I've seen some say EMT, others say CNA, even some mention lab tech. However, outside of CNA, it seems to take a couple years to get into the others. Why would I delay my schooling for that?
