HI everybody! I decided to start this thread to give a little advice to those that are goingto be taking the TEAS test soon. I took mine today, and for me, it was SO easy. The hardest by far is the science. I doubt I did very well in that area, but the others I am sure were in the high 90's at least. My advice is to BUY the online practice test~ Best 32.00 I ever spent. I also have the study guide, but the practice tests gives you two tests to take. I would recommend to take one and see where you need to improve and then go back and retake after refreshing in those areas. I was so worried about the Science and apparently I was right. I wasnt sure how much A&P would on there or really what to expect. Thankfully, the science section is the shortest test of only 30 questions. Out of the WHOLE science section, I literally had 2 questions with regards to A&P. Everything else was life and earth science. Honestly the science I just did the best I could, because there is no way you can learn all that science before taking the test. Everyone has mentioned that there were questions about clouds and tectonic plates. This proved true with me as well. Although the question (just one) I had about clouds gave an example first so it was an easy one. There was one about tectonic plates, and I couldnt remember, I would look over those. There was one about rocks so I would go over those as well. Even though there are only 1 of those questions if you can get each of those RIGHT, it takes away from those that you will not know.
There were several questions regarding chemistry. There were also several questions regarding dominant traits and those were also on the sample test. I did not know most of that stuff. The math was SUPER easy! I mean really! And I HATE math. I detest it! But if you know basic math, you will think that part is cake. I should know the results of mytest next friday, so I will post and let everyone know. But I just wanted to say good luck, and my advice to buy the practice test from the ATI website, as I really thought it was just like the real test.

I am so glad to hear that you did well. Congrats . I am taking my test soon and I am so nervous because I am really bad I math. Like sometimes I have trouble with word problems. Did you get lots of them. Also for the math did you have to remember any formulas like circles and Area? I am worried for the science as well because I am not so great with chemistry. What kind of stuff was on there for chemistry. I find it weird how they have earth science but I am trying to study that any suggestions. Thanks and Congrats!

Isnt it great to have that behind you?
I did a search on this website for the rock and plate tectonics questions (searched under TEAS) before I had my test. i know the rock question (with the ice) is wedging and the tectonics was divergent (i think).
LOL thank you for telling me that! I HAD the ice one, and i guessed it right then, and I really didnt know! Yipppee!
Hi~ I didnt have many word problems at all, just a couple of algebra problems like X+ Xy+3y, and stuff like that. I also didnt need any formulas that I can remember, except for you do have a couple of questions regarding Temperature so look up celcius and farenheit info because one I had to convert and I wasnt sure how. Theres also one about converting from Kg to pounds so look up that as well.

^ well if its wrong then u are not getting it right so obliviously yes.
to grateful1, I cant remember any one off the top of my head, but my school let me use a calculator on the math part, so that helped a lot. as far as the reading, if you can read a paragraph and give main idea youll be fine. good luck:up:
