Just curious about financial aid with ISU

Published

How does the financial aid work for the Indiana State LPN-BSN program? Are government grants and loans offered as in a traditional university?

Thanks.

I don't know about the LPN-BSN program, but I was previously enrolled in an online degree program with ISU and the financial aid worked the same as it did for traditional students; after I completed the FAFSA, I was required to fill out additional paperwork for the university and provide my income information, and within a few weeks I received a letter confirming that I was eligible for financial aid including a pell grant, and an ISU needs-based grant as well as loans. Although I'm not going there anymore (opted for nursing instead here at a local school), the ISU financial aid office contacted me again this semester with my aid award automatically. So I don't see why the nursing program should work too much differently...overall, they seem to run a pretty smooth operation over there.

Hope this helps!

Sounds good, thanks!
