Talked to my recruiter today about my status. He said that the June 28th deadline was mainly for the last sessions alternates and non-selects to fill the upcoming slots. Started this process the first week in May but he said I would not be able to complete everything by this deadline because it was so close and he was going on leave so I will be in on the upcoming October deadline. If I understood correctly this means I won't be eligible till the October 2012 fiscal year to go to COT. Is this correct or can I still be selected for COT after my May 2012 BSN graduation? Thanks

You will not be eligible for the upcoming board if you are applying for NTP. If you graduate in 2012 and don't have an ADN, then you must wait for the FY12 NTP board. It takes months to put a solid application together.

Then you can apply, although the next board will probably not be possible since application deadline is a few weeks away. The board dates for next FY have not been released yet. Good luck, stay motivated.

I meet with the recruiter tomorrow to review my packet and sign it to send it in. I thought that this day would never come. It has been a long 12 months.
