JUne 06 : Retake All?

Published

Anyone here who had voluntarily revoked his/her june 2006 license to be able to take previous December 06 board...

Planning to take the June 07 board exam, the whole entire exam.. But with the delayed response of the government, and with the stubborn stand of DOLE of " retake of test 3 and 5", i think my only option is to have my license revoke and sit for a new exam.....

What implications would it bring.. enlighten me pls....

If I'm not mistaken, only 2 people did that. And they passed.

You can do it too, benefit is at least you won't have to live under the shadow of the june2006 exam.

My opinion on all of this, definitely retake the entire exam. Employers in the US want to see the entire exam rewritten.

go for the retake of all the exams. you can do it!.....and as the saying goes : "passing is sweeter the second time around!"

goodluck!

i am one of the june 2006 passers... i worked as a nurse trainee in one of the biggest govt hosp in the phil. one month to go, i will get my certificate of training but i opted to stop. just last monday, i waived my license and will voluntarily retake all the subjects. what a courageous woman i am! ahehehe! well, i could say, God is watching..He's gonna help me get thru this board exam again! Amen!;)

Very courageous, indeed rosesun! And wise, too. Because, what if ANA dissuades the CGFNS from the partial retake stand and demand for a total retake... after the partial one? Then the batch will have to take again? Changing your license and your batch thru total retake is the only way out of the vicious cycle. In the long run, it's those who insisted against the retake (especially the President's dentist :uhoh3: ) who created further misery.

At this point, it makes no difference as to what CGFNS requirements are. If you are already preparing for at least two sections, why not get it all done?

CGFNS is not the one that will be hiring you, the employers here want to see the entire exam redone. Best is to go with what the employers want.

Best of luck to those of you that will retake the entire exam.:balloons:

(Smartest thing to do.)

you are right suzanne4 and aquarian! :lol2: thanks!

that is what i am really thinking and weighing things.. as they say no pain, no gain. even if i dint cheat that exam, God knows...taking the whole exam is the right thing to do.

visascreen is just one thing, what about employment?thats another thing! taking 3 and 5 would answer the visa screen but what about next step? employment! oh my! actually, i am done with nclex and ielts.. employment is the next thing i am going to work on after this phil board exam. i pray so hard that i will pass it again second time around ;)

Yeah, you can do it. Besides, the exam now is a lot more objective and June passers are very smart in my opinion so they won't have a hard time.

Good luck. You made a wise choice.

If you prepared properly the first time and passed that exam, you should not have any issue with passing the exam a second time.

Best of luck to you.:balloons:

hmm. well im with all ive read here. i think im inclined to waive my license and take the entire exam too. having passed both the tainted june '06 exam and the NCLEX just recently. i do hope chances are i'll pass a retake of the entire exam too.. sigh.. and i thought after passing the IELTS last month that im finally done with all these exams. guess not..
