July 2010 nclex rn study group

Hi everyone,

I have the feeling that those of us who are going to take our nclex in July should start to share our

ideas and views and at the same time encourage each other in any way we can.I

strongly believe that the earlier the better,and together we can make it in Jesus NAME.

STUDY,STUDY,STUDY. PRAY,PRAY,PRAY. We will be successful. For me I have been

changing my date because I am doing Kaplan online, LA Charity,Exam cram and

I'm testing in early July and I just finished the Kaplan live review...working on Q bank now. After I'm done with that I'll complete the LaCharity book and QT7. I'm also using Saunders comprehensive as a reference when I need more in depth information. I also have the Kaplan 2010-2011 strategy book which I bought before I decided to do the live Kaplan review. Good luck fellow July test takers!

tnx Ikedinachi 4 starting dis thread, i will be testing early July, graduated May 18th, I just picked my Saunders to start studying today. I can't afford the kaplan, so i'll be using my Nclex bks.

from Florida here. I am hoping to take the NCLEX by july. how long does it take to get the ATT in FL?

im planning to use saunders, nclex 4000, etc. iwanted to do kaplan but i cannot afford it so im going to stick to my nclex books and reviews. good luck july test takers :D

I'm in FL as well and hoping to take my test on July 5th... still waiting on my ATT going on 2 weeks. Using kaplan,a little reviewing from Saunders, and the LaCharity, and alternate format book. Best of blessings to everyone!

Well, after two and a half weeks, my ATT arrived today... went online and got in for July 8. 30 days. 100 q /day = 3000 questions. Taking Kaplan right now, have Exam Cram and NCLEX 4000 as well. Also Saunders. Not sure if I'll have time to do anything besides Kaplan, it's intense!

This is my birthday month: wouldn't THAT be a rockin' present, to pass?

Hi guys! Im testing on august. Its gonna be my second time. Um doing the la charity book and purchased the kaplan 2010-2011.i hopenit will help this time. Please share with us the test preparations you have been taught in review class. Cant afford review class so ill stick to my books. :(

hi,

i am going to take mine july 19th. i am studying on my own.....i can't afford kaplan.

i am using saunders 4ed; saunders q&a book; and lacharity pda. i'm trying to do between 100-200 questions a day along side reviewing content. before, we were allowed to graduate we had to sit in a 4 day nclex review class. we had to answer questions and the teacher went over question answering strategies (the teacher who taught this class also taught for kaplan) and we had to take hesi. i have taken hesi for each content area (peds, med/surg, pysch, and maternity). we also had to take hesi at the beginning of our final semester of nursing school and then again at the end if you did not get 950 - i did okay on the hesi according to my teachers, my scores weren't totally down the toilet.

i did the assessment test on the saunders cd and it gave me a calendar - so i am using that as a guide on what content areas to focus on. in saunders, i have already reviewed peds; nursing sciences; and issues in nursing. right now, i am on maternity.

i pray that i pass - i already have a job lined up and everything. my teacher said that your confidence is 50% of your success in passing nclex so i am trying to stay positive and confident in myself that i can pass.

How is it going?. I hope everyone is studying really heard to face the Nclex in

July, may GOD help us. Can somebody help me with how to tackle SATA, it's

setting me back in my studies, i can't just get it. Need your help.Thanks.

Hi Everyone! i'm also taking my nclex exam this july! on the 9th! i'm a nervous wreck, i dont know where to concentrate, i just feel like i'm all over the place when studying. This will be my 4th time to take my test, and i really really wanna pass this time. Any suggestions?
