Joliet Junior College Fall 2019

Hello! Anyone else on here applying for the Fall 2019 JJC nursing program? I am so nervous, especially since I know it is a long wait to find out if you've been accepted. I have all my prereqs done with a good GPA and didn't do to bad on the TEAS. Thought I would see if there is anyone else out there that is going to go through this wait with me. :)

Erik_tech, the wait is really bad. It is driving me crazy. I believe the qualification emails should be coming soon. But we still have a wait from there :(

Hey guys ! I scored a 76.7 on my Teas and have a 3.4 GPA. I’m taking my BIO 251 currently, but other than that my prerequisites are done! Hoping I make it in!

Hello jacelynnrenee. Welcome. I got a 75 on my Teas, have a 3.8 GPA, with all prerequisites complete. I am so nervous. The email said they are hoping to let us know at the end of March. I hope I get in too. The waiting is driving me crazy!

That’s awesome! Your odds look great with that GPA & having your prerequisites done. I’ll have to admit, I’ve been checking my email like a crazy person every hour lol. Fingers crossed we both get in!

Also, My friend spoke with an advisor and she said there were 238 applicants, 40 of which did not qualify. So there are 198 applicants and 96 seats available.

It is terrifying. It is so hard not to continuously check my email. I’m not worried about my GPA and my prerequisites. It’s the Teas score that bothers me because when I took it I thought I was off by 1 for guaranteed admission but they upped the guaranteed to 82. However, when they did that they lowered the percentage of how much it is weighted when they score it. I hope we both get in and they tell us soon so the crazy waiting will be over.

I thought I was in with my 76 until someone told me they raised it to 82! I was pretty upset to say the least lol. Update here and let me know if you made it in! ??????

Email came out last night showing tips so we can accept our spots and it said emails should come out Friday after hours ?

hello all, I also I received the first email but now I'm waiting to see if I made it in , I have a 76.7 on my teas I was pretty bummed when I found out the guaranteed admission score went up tp 82. all my pre-reqs are done and i have all B's. im hoping thats good enough . pray for me .
