Johns Hopkins Masters Entry 2017 (MSN)

Published

Hi All,

Figured I'd start a thread for applicants to the Johns Hopkins Masters Entry into Nursing Practice for entry in spring 2017 with July 1 deadline. Good luck all.

Congrats everyone.

Ugh! I am starting to loose hope. I did well on all the prereqs. (all taken through the online JHU). I am finishing the last one, biostatistics. Anyone else taking biostats right now? :)

@DetroitAng Congrats on your acceptance! I'm taking the red eye from LA tomorrow night. Hope to see you there! We should exchange contact info :)

Thank you!

Fun! Haha I'm flying out tomorrow at 6:00AM! I can't wait to wake up at 3:30! Are you in the Columbia Facebook group?

@DetroitAng Yeah! My first name is Ximena. You should be able to find me :)

I also was accepted yesterday evening! Very excited, but still deciding between Columbia's MDE/DNP program and Hopkins' MSN-Entry; does anyone know of a post on here that can help with this decision? Good luck, everyone!

Got an acceptance letter from JHU! I am so thankful for this and thank you guys for sharing all the information :-)

Congrats @sonagi87! Ah, I'm anxious for mine.

I got one as well!

Thanks @_meglynn, and I send positive wishes to you. You will hear from them soon!

@sonagi87, thank you! My application was completed on January 12th, so I am hoping I hear back by the end this week.

Congrats to you all who got an acceptance today!

I also got accepted today!!! I'm deciding between jhu and umb. Congrats to everyone else!!!

Congrats to all who have been accepted!

I am currently debating between programs, and am curious what others are thinking with regards to plans after completing the Masters Entry program. Are you planning to continue at JHU for a DNP or PhD, or will you work? Do folks know if other programs will accept transferable credits to obtain a specialty as an NP? Seems like JHU would be the easiest transition, but this feels a little limited in terms of school options and commitment to living in Baltimore.. thoughts?
