Hi,

I have applied for and received an invite to interview at JHH on a pediatric unit. I figured since there are previous threads for past years I'd start a new one for 2020 hires/start dates! Lets all keep each other informed and updated through the process.

Hey new friend! Nice to meet you! I will be moving in June! We can all meet up virtually, chat and then plan to meet up when we are in town. I planned to go apartment hunting in May but because of the situation going on I decided to do the virtual tour from the comfort of my bed. I have a couple I have contacted. But I do want to have valet trash and washer/dryer in unit, so I went for a two bedroom, no utilities included(those who utilities included didn’t have valet trash or washer/dryer).

Hi!! CONGRATS on your position in the ED! I won't be starting until October, but still want to meet some friends so keep in touch! Good luck ?

Yes!! Let's keep in touch and plan to meet up! My instagram is paulahryuu!! I think I was planning to go apartment hunting in May too since I need to go for my EHS screening, but honestly might just start virtual tours right now since I am bored.

Hi everyone! Question- I accepted a new grad-RN job offer from Johns Hopkins Hospital about a month ago. I am so excited! However I am slightly concerned because after I accepted the offer, I still have not received any emails regarding the background check, occupational health appointment scheduling, etc. Has anyone with an August 3rd start date received any of this yet? I know the hospitals are super busy right now with Covid-19 but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't behind!

Yes, I accepted a position slightly over a month too and have not heard from them about the things you listed up there too. So I called them. They said not to worry that because it’s still farther away that they are attending to those with a closer start date esp with all that is going on, so nothing to worry about and we should start hearing from them and getting more info, things to complete and links, etc by first or second week of May. Hang in there and congratulations! ??

OK! Awesome! I am not on Instagram though! I knowwww I should have one!? But I just couldn’t keep up with all the facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, etc. I pretty much just zoned into my studies and shut down social media.

Hey! I interviewed 4/8 with Mrs. Street and still haven't heard anything. When I called the recruitment office today they encouraged me to reach out to the manager via email. I did last week but nothing back yet ?
